Bigger and Bigger

Look how big those little caterpillars are getting. I took these yesterday, and I swear they're even bigger today. Shouldn't be long before they start spinning themselves into a cocoon.
The girls are so interested in them.
They don't move a whole lot, but when they do we just sit and stare at them.
Even Abby has gotten interested in them.
It is so fun to watch things grow.

On that same note (of growing), I took a huge step out of my comfort zone and grew a little in my sewing skills. We've had this old carseat since Sarah was born, it was a hand-me-down from one of Ryan's uncles. Anyway, I wish I had taken a before picture, but I honestly didn't think it would turn out.
Just imagine some old, faded blue fabric, that had holes all over, and the padding from the seat part was pulled out and missing chunks. It looked lovely
Anyways. I took it all apart and sewed on some new fabric and then pieced it all back together.
Here is the after:
Its not perfect, but will do the job. I'm just happy it still fits on the frame.
Sarah keeps asking when I am going to put her new car seat in the car. We really don't need a 3rd car seat, but we tend to give friends rides often enough that I just keep a 3rd on in the car for such occasions.
Yeah for being brave and trying new things.
