Chew on this!

Impossible!
Absolutely impossible to get a picture of this lil' fella with out his hands in his mouth.

See evidence below.

Chances of getting a clear shot of Zak?
Hopeless! Cute, but absolutely hopeless!

Sweet Abby

Oh this little girl...

She is definitely my strong willed child.
I guess she has more of my personality type... and sometimes our stubbornness conflicts.

But she is such a happy, giggly little girl.

There is nothing I love more than to see her little face light up and listen to her giggle.
She loves to make me smile, and that I am grateful for.

I took these pictures because her hair was so straight and pretty after we dried it... but once we got downstairs... it had already had a tousled I've-been-rolling-around-on-the-floor-and-jumping-on-the-couch look. It is really in right now, didn't you know?

One thing that has been really difficult is potty training Abby. I'm already forgetting all of the details, but her little independent personality made it very hard (plus having a newborn baby didn't help... yes, I nursed Zak several times sitting on the ledge of the bathtub). I'm so glad that we are mostly past it, and can consider her potty trained (with occasional accidents).

Mr. Blue Eyes (for the moment)

Lil' Zak was just so sweetly laying on the floor as I was doing... something, who knows, probably cleaning up after something...
He loves watching his little hands.
Practicing opening and closing them and wiggling all of his fingers.
 Such a focused little look.

The lighting was just so sweet when I stepped over him two or three times I had to run down and grab my camera.

I'm blogging this months later, but look how blue his little eyes are here.

Oh Mr. Zak, you are definitely a wonderful source of sunshine!

Snuggle Buds

Sometimes in the late afternoon, before it is time to end our playdate the girls love to snuggle under a blanket together and watch a show (usually the Backyardigans).

They always looks so cute all snuggled up together.

What sweet lil' friends.

Goal Setting

Sarah sets the oddest goals for herself... I don't know where she gets it from.

*ahem*
Anyways... this was her goal.
This girl makes me laugh.

She has been working for a long time to figure out how to cross her eyes
She does it all the time.
A sure way to make any friend giggle... her favorite thing to do.

Anyway. We sure love our *special* daughter.

Monster Buddy

Zak LOVES his lil' monster stuff.
Well... he loves chewing on it, thats for sure.

"Who me?"

Especially when he works the tags up where he can get them.

I know he really loves it though...

Three Months

Man... time is FLYING!
We're approaching summer... so it is only going to go faster from here.

So, here is the Zakster at Three Months!

Here are the comparison pictures from before
(If you click on them you can switch back and forth to see the difference)
(Left: 2 months, Right: 1 month)

See how he has he little feet together. When ever his feet are uncovered he holds them together... kind of like holding hands... holding feet? Whatever, I think it is adorable.

Not really a whole lot of change.
Don't really know his weight... but he was almost 15 lbs at his 2 month... so I'd guess he is some where between 16.5-18 lbs. We'll find out for sure at his 4 month check up.

Okay... ready for a gazillion slightly different pictures.
Enjoy!
Love these pudgy little hands!

 What a happy boy.

This is the funniest little look. Love it!

Looks like he is bumping his fist against his chest,
"What's up bro?"

Right in the middle of taking these Zak really discovered his hands.
He has been chewing on them for the past month or so, but he totally froze and focused in on them and just stared at them for a good five minutes.

It was adorable.
So fun to watch him try and figure it out.

Love these chunky thighs!

Really haven't pudged up these wrists too much... need to work on that.

Surprised look.
I think the lighting changed a little.

Love this little look.

Oh he is such a sweetie!

Picture of his haircut.

His little ear.

Okay, okay... you're done!

Of course Abby discovered me in the middle of this.
"The Lady and the Tramp" wasn't distracting enough
(after the 15th time watching it)
