I can't believe how big my little girl is getting! She has been saying her prayers on her own for a couple of weeks now, but she keeps adding more and more. She tends to say things that she hears Ryan and I say to her when we say our nightly prayers (like in the video, thanking for the different people in our family...although I don't think we have ever said the kitty before, that was all Sarah's idea). She is really proud of herself for being so big. I was glad to catch this on video.
I just thought her little prayer was so cute. Let me translate what she said.
"Heavenly Father,
We thank for mommy, daddy, and sarah and Abby and the kitty and the Sarah and Jesus Christ. We thank thee for the food. Please bless it. In the name, of Jesus Christ. Amen"
Cute! I love hearing X say his prayers and listening to the things he catches on to. Like when I became diabetic without even telling X to he blessed that "mommy would get better so she didn't have to poke her finger any more" still makes me smile.
That is adorable. Karter used to say the funniest things. I never thought to record or write them down and now I can't remember most of it. You're so good Liz.
