This week bites!

Quite LITERALLY!!

Its been a little bit since my last post (shocking for all three of the people who follow this).

Anyway... I have no cute new pictures to post. This week has been exhausting!

Why you ask?

FLEAS!!!

So my week has been filled with running to buy more flea ridding products, giving the kitties flea baths (poor things think I am out to get them), setting of flea foggers, bug bombs, researching new killing methods online, dusting the carpets with flea powder, vacuuming, scrubbing, mopping, washing everything and bathing constantly! Both exhausting and expensive!

On the plus side... the girls and Ryan haven't been getting bitten... just me... JOY!
That and my house is getting uber clean!

Next week is promising to be a fun filled week. Hopefully we'll be flea free by then.

Until then...*sigh*

PS -  The worst part is feeling like something is crawling on me constantly... every time a an arm hair moves...*shudder*

Ug, that sucks! Sorry to hear that. That is a big fear of mine, that and bed bugs, and lice, and basically any hard to get rid of bugs. Yucky. Good luck.

We had that problem with our dog. It really helped to get some flea medication for her. The kind you put on topically. Then Polly was like a walking flea killer. That took care of our problem pretty quick. But we happened to catch it before we had too many fleas.

When you say kitties do you mean more than 1 cat now? You should post a pic of your kitties. Am I silly? I just love cats and wish we could have one, but until then I have to live vicariously thought those who do have them. Fleas sound like NO fun! Sorry!

Well, it WAS two kitties. We have been watching this kitty for a lady who is fixing up a house she bought... bad news. Anyway, we've had her since April... long story, I took her back yesterday (Sunday) couldn't handle two kitties with fleas!

That's it . . . we are never getting a cat. Fleas?!? That stinks!

Hope you get better soon, Liz! When Brian comes out next week, make sure he doesn't bring them back to UT, okay? :-) Just slap a flea collar on him or whatever.
