So in a previous post I mentioned that I had some exciting news to share with everyone, and I do. But what exciting news did everyone think I was going to share? That I am pregnant, right? WRONG!!! Man, I know I have said I am baby hungry, but I know my limits, and I am no super mom. So, I'll be content with two... for now.
The exciting news that I thought would be ready for announcement was that Abby was crawling. But she is technically not crawling yet. She seems to prefer the army crawl that she learned from her Cousin June Bug while we were visiting Utah for Christmas. It is cute, and she can get anywhere she wants to (accept when she wants mom, then she gets frozen in one spot and just cries). In fact, I have seriously been considering tying a dampened cloth around Abby's tummy so she can clean the floors as she army crawls all over our floor.
But she is close, really close to crawling. I mean she has been doing this constantly...

And now, after hanging out with this adorable fella, Trevor...
...she has now figured out how to go from laying on her tummy to sitting up. She is close to crawling, and I am in trouble!
We did get our Piano all tuned up and it sounds great. I have a little video of Ryan going to town on it, but it took forever for the one short movie to load, that I think I'll post it later. In our family that is the more exciting news. Every day is filled with Ryan taking study breaks and pounding his heart out on the piano. I love it, and the girls love it too. Sarah will go and sit at the keyboard (which we have yet to take down) and play a duet with Daddy. Lil' Abby will scoot over to Daddy's feet and touch them as Daddy pushes the foot pedals on the piano. Its a real homey feeling having a working piano in the house.
So there you have it folks. No, I'm not pregnant. And my exciting news comment back fired on me... I'll post the real deal (Abby Crawling) when it happens.

Ahhhh it's still cute news! I love the rocking right before they crawl. She's soo cute Liz! I'm sad your so far away. :(
I love that video of Abby! She is so cute! June doesn't really do that rocking thing - I always heard that is the first step to crawling, so when Abby figures it out, she'll have to teach June.
